Peter Ochap

	Peter Ochap, 92, of DuBois, passed away at 9:18 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2000 at St. Marys Hospital in Centralia.
	 Peter was a retired farmer.  He was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in DuBois and an honorary lifetime member of the DuBois Knights of Columbus.  He was a member of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau.  He was a former Waltonville High School board member.
	Peter was born November 7, 1908 in Perry County, the son of Adam and Pelagia (Kuberski) Ochap.  He married Gertrude Dalman on January 29, 1934 at Todds Mill and she survives.
	He is survived by his wife of DuBois; two daughters, Marcella Majewski of Tamaroa and Celestine Borowiak of Albion; one sister, Mary Jurkowski of Pinckneyville; a half-sister, Fronie Skurat of Dix; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; son -in-law, Ray Majewski; six half-brothers, three sisters, one half-sister and one grandchild.
	Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2000 at St. Charles Catholic Church in DuBois with Msgr. Melvin Vandeloo officiating.
	 Friends called from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.  
	The Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
	Interment was in St. Charles Cemetery at DuBois.
	 Friends may make memorials to the St. Charles Church Renovation Fund.
